Hours and Location

“Middle Earth encourages inclusion of all racial and ethnic backgrounds into their community of care. They collaborate with state agencies to make it possible for parents needing subsidy payments for basic food and shelter to also be able to send their children to Middle Earth. I am proud—and grateful to the leaders who continue to make Middle Earth a star in Norman’s past, present and future.” – Laura Boyd, Ph.D., Executive Director of Oklahoma Therapeutic Foster Care Association

Inclement Weather Policy

It is extremely rare for Middle Earth to close due to inclement weather. We do not necessarily follow the University of Oklahoma or public school closures. Families are asked to check our facebook page before bringing children to the center. Lead teachers will also contact families as early as possible.

Arrival and Departure

Children must be accompanied into the classroom and signed in by an adult. Likewise, they need to be signed out and escorted by an adult who is on the parents’ approved pickup list. No children are allowed to go to the playground or parking lot unaccompanied, nor will they be released unless the adult is on the approved list.
